We've come a long way since the "founding" George Brumder opened his first bookstore at 306 W. Water Street on May 15, 1864.

In fact, it's been over 160 years and changes in publishing and book selling abound. With this website, I hope to usher in a new era of Brumder "publishing."

In addition to using this space to connect family members far and wide, I plan to upload a digitized copy of The Life and Times of George and Henriette Brumder, which can be read, searched or downloaded online.
